Barbara Vaughan was a student of Professor Joseph O'Brien's Normal School of Dance,
Lynn, MA (Ray Bolger went there, too). She worked at Radio City Music Hall as a Rockette from 1945-1950
under the direction of Russell Markert. Barbara was chosen as one of six Rockettes to travel overseas via the Berlin Airlift to perform with Bob Hope's Christmas Show in 1948. She married Kevin McCabe in 1947. They have 5 children, 11 grandchildren
and 8 great-grandchildren. Barbara and Kevin live in Deer Park, NY. |
