Pat Merl's entertainment experience began in 1968 as a Radio City Music Hall Rockette (New York City, New York) from 1968-1971, and continued as she worked for numerous notable production companies over the following eleven years.

Her first management position, company captain, was in 1978 with the world famous "Lido de Paris" (Las Vegas, Nevada). She then went to work for Miller-Reich Productions (Miami, Florida) as general production manager, where she oversaw all aspects of show production, from pre-production budgeting to casting, contract negotiations, and final production. As assistant director of show operations for Resorts International Hotel Casino (Atlantic City, New Jersey) in 1984, Ms. Merl coordinated the presentation of fifty-two headliner shows a year. In 1988, she established Entertainment Spectrum, Inc. (Seminole, Florida), booking acts internationally.

In 1990 thru 1993, Ms. Merl honed her marketing skills at Perry Marshall Advertising, Inc./Circus Vargas (Hollywood, California) where she held the position of national marketing director for a traveling circus which traveled to ninety-two U.S. cities annually (tented seating of 2,000 people).

Ms. Merl joined Farrington Productions, Inc., in 1995. Within a year she became general production manager, overseeing all existing and developing productions and projects. In 1997, she was promoted to Vice President of Operations. Ms. Merl was instrumental in reorganizing Farrington Productions, and pulling together a strong management team, whom she assisted in focusing on providing quality productions, results, and services.

Ms. Merl's unique combination of performance and management background, accumulated during her thirty years in the field of entertainment, provide her with an all-encompassing perspective of the industry. She has earned the designation of CSEP (Certified Special Events Planner), and is presently serving on the Board of the International Special Events Society (ISES) as the Director of Marketing and PR. Additionally, she is a member of the Certification Committee and the Signature Event Committee for ISES and is listed in the 2000 Edition of the Nationwide Register's Who's Who in Executives and Business.

Pat is currently an adjunct professor on staff at UNLV where she teaches Production Show Management and Entertainment Marketing. She also freelances as an Entertainment Operations and Marketing consultant for entertainment booking and production companies.
